Day 1 (RYT not required): Pam Lozoff will provide a trauma-informed framework for doing community-based work, through yoga and other movement-based practices, including accessible and practical tools to share with your students or clients.
Then, Nicole Steward will follow with lending a deeper understanding of the neurobiology of trauma and how to address and tend to vicarious and secondary trauma, which we are likely to incur as we do direct service work with folks experiencing trauma.
Day 2 (RYT required): Edna Barr will offer practical tools and demos for practicing asana and giving adjustments in yoga classes from a trauma-informed and choice-based approach.
You can register for the full weekend workshop or 1-day only, receiving 8-hours of CEUs for yoga teachers per day, or 16 total for the full weekend training.
