The Changemakers Institute (CMI) is an organization that is committed to providing yogic philosophy, self care, self inquiry, and meditation as a platform of education for conscious activist and those serving the community. It is our goal to provide individuals the tools to create change first in themselves, then in their communities in order to build conscious sustainable movements for change in social, political and environmental justice, through community activation and organization.
Through Off The Mat into the World’s Yoga In Action training, CMI provides a foundation to build from to become conscious and effective community leaders, covering topics like social justice foundations, Non-Violent Communication, finding passion and purpose, and connecting the yogic practice to effective social change work. CMI also provides continuing education training, community activation, and direct action events through special guests and leaders based on current relevant topics. Check out our Yoga in Action immersions here.
CMI envisions a world where humanity awakens to the fact that we are all one. A state of being where all people work together to solve the global issues causing suffering though out our human existence. A place where compassion, connectedness, peace and love, reigns over greed, domination, hatred, violence and fear. A place where all beings are happy and free.
"I am so honored to be able to hold this space for this community. My vision is to provide a platform for community activation and continuing education to support our Changemakers in their efforts to create sustainable change in this world. My hope is for all of us to wake up to our power, find our voices and show up in support for All people and the planet."
Every 1st & 3rd Sundays, 6:30-8:30PM, CMI hosts Changemakers Nights
